When I first mention golf hypnosis as a peak performance tool, I often get the “WTF Face”.
And it’s easy to understand why… after all, most people’s exposure to hypnosis is limited to the local entertainment show at the fair or a comedy club, and what they may have seen in a movie.
There are certainly hypnotic techniques being used in those shows, but the way in which they are used, the intention, and the results are vastly different.

Let’s just clear up a few misconceptions straight away:
1) You remain awake during the entire session. You are guided into a relaxed state, but you are fully conscious and aware
2) You are in control
3) You are only given positive suggestions regarding your golf performance… you will not be fooled into clucking like a chicken for an audience
4) It is not voodoo, and you don’t have to believe in any particular religion or join a cult in order to benefit from it
So, you may be wondering, just exactly how does this golf hypnosis gig work?
Well, it’s a lot less mysterious than you might think.
Here’s the deal:
By moving into a deeply relaxed (but awake) state, your conscious mind is able to let go a bit. This allows your subconscious mind to recieve the positive suggestions directly. Often times, in our regular states, our conscious mind will dismiss and filter out this information. Or you may hear and comprehend it, but it doesn’t really “sink in”. The goal of each session is to have you take in the positive suggestions and make them part of your subconscious mind and mental golf “program”.
OK, maybe that sounds just a wee bit mysterious, but it really is simple at the base of it all.
If you have never been properly hypnotized by a professional, then you may be surprised to find out that you rarely “feel hypnotized” after a session.
This is perfectly normal and actually ideal for the therapeutic benefits you will reap. We want you to simply relax and listen to the positive golf hypnosis suggestions, and allow them to become part of your mental/emotional programming.
It’s the only totally passive way to slash strokes off your handicap.
