Stop Running For Golf Fitness!

by Coach Stephen on

A question that I get almost every week is if running or jogging is a good form of exercise for golf fitness.

The answer is… absolutely not!

Not only will long, slow running decrease your swing speed and kill your distance, it will most likely lead to injury if you do it for years on end.

There is a MUCH better way to train your heart muscle for both health AND peak performance on the golf course.

Find out all the details in today’s video:

Start training like a sprinter, get heart healthy and powerful… and get after Old Man Par!

Hey David – thanks for your question. Unfortunately it is way beyond the scope of my practice to give suggestions on a potentially serious issue without being able to see you and your images in person. If you have a significant tear, then surgery may be your best option, followed up by specific exercises to stabilize the shoulder. Best of luck to you.
